
SKP empowers local communities to prevent accidental injuries by building grassroots coalitions. There are currently four coalitions in Paranaque, Pasay, Olongapo and Cebu. The Quezon City Coalition will officially be launched during the 3rd National Safe Kids Week in June 2007.
Pasay Coalition
The Pasay Coalition is led by the Pasay City Barangay Health Workers’ Federation.

Parañaque Coalition
Most volunteers for Parañaque are members of the Parañaque Development Workers Organization an affiliate of Feed the Children Philippines extension office in Parañaque City.

Olongapo Coalition
FedEx employee volunteers make up the majority of Olongapo City’s volunteer base especially for the Walk This Way Program. Nitz Ruiz and Rod Wong, Service Assurance Administrator and Hub Operations Manager respectively, have led and organized these FedEx volunteers.

Cebu Coalition
The Cebu City Task Force for Street Children took on the leadership role in moving the injury prevention program in Cebu City.

Quezon City Coalition
Quezon City is the new coalition partner of Safe Kids Philippines. Volunteers from this coalition are members of the Open Heart Foundation
