FedEx has partnered with SKW in various markets since 1999 to draw attention to the life-threatening risks faced by child pedestrians and to promote the overall health and welfare of children. FedEx extended its relationship with SKW to the Asia Pacific region through the establishment of key offices in China, the Philippines and Korea.
With funding provided by FedEx and other sponsors, SKW continues implementation of pedestrian safety programs in these countries. Safe Kids member country offices operate out of Shanghai, Manila and Seoul.
In addition to helping the communities, the Walk This Way program gives FedEx employees the opportunity to increase their community involvement through volunteer activities.
The Walk This Way program will enable FedEx to add another dimension to its customer's experience with the company. It presents the opportunity to make a tangible impact to improve the community and demonstrate a sincere concern for the welfare of the people in which FedEx carries out business.
