Safe Kids Philippines
(SKP)
is an affiliate of Safe Kids Worldwide (SKW), the first-ever-global
effort to focus solely on the prevention of unintentional childhood
injury.
SKP is the first and only
non-government
organization in the Philippines dedicated to preventing unintentional
injuries to children 14 years old and below.
SKP is committed to making the road, the home and the school safer for
children by building capacity among concerned stakeholders:
parents, children, local community members, schools, government,
non-government organizations,
corporations and
institutions.
SKP currently has child safety programs in five cities across the
Philippines: Pasay City, Paranaque City, Olongapo City, Cebu
City
and Quezon City. SKP plans to expand the program to reach
more
